The Sex Panel

July 23, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$35.00

Come experience a sensual evening, indulge your senses and enjoy a candlelit conversation around sexual liberation.

Let’s talk about SEX baby.

Wild Bloom Panels are centered around bringing formerly “taboo” topics into the light to be explored in an unconditionally loving and judgment free container. July’s Panel will be covering all things sex. We’re exploring everything from masturbation, same sex couples and sexual repression to utilizing sex as a manifestation tool, embdoying sexuality outside of the bedroom and so much more.

While it would be impossible to cover the entirety of such a vast topic within a single discussion, our intention is to create a series around the multi-faceted and complex topic of sex. Come enjoy our very first panel of the series, bring your questions and let’s dive in!

We believe that having these conversations and removing the shame has a profound healing impact and that it’s time we create safe containers for these discussions to be had.

Warning: This will be a candid, unfiltered and raw conversation around sex. We understand that this topic can present triggers for people. We will have measures in place to create a safe and loving environment. That said, if you feel that this topic will be particularly triggering for you, there will be other panels in the future that may be a better fit.

Requirements for Participation:

Our top priority is safety at all Wild Bloom Events. By choosing to participate in Wild Bloom events you are committed to taking responsibility for your own safety and co-creating a safe, loving and supportive environment for everyone.

While we do not anticipate this event being a space in which these boundaries are crossed, we have outlined our requirements for participation to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees is upheld.

By choosing to be apart of this event, you agree to honor the following:

Substance Use:
We require that all guests restrain from any altering substances prior to and throughout Wild Bloom Events, unless otherwise stated, in order to ensure that attendees are present, connected and in control.

Consent:
At Wild Bloom, consent is a requirement for all engagements beyond casual, platonic interaction. Please be sensitive to the environment and if you are unclear on someone’s personal preference or boundary, please ask before moving forward.

What is Consent? (Language borrowed from Planned Parenthood)

Freely given. Consenting is a choice you make without pressure, manipulation, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Reversible. Anyone can change their mind about what they feel like doing, anytime. Even if you’ve done it before, and even if you’re already headed in the direction of what you no longer desire to be apart of.

Informed.
You can only consent to something if you have the full story.

Enthusiastic. When it comes to anything, you should only do stuff you WANT to do, not things that you feel you’re expected to do.

Specific. Saying yes to one thing, doesn’t mean you’ve said yes to others.

Yes and No:

WHAT IS YES?
You agree that the ONLY “Yes” is a clear, secure and verbal “YES”.
Ex: “Yes, you may sit next to me.”
“Yes, I am Mutual” means “Yes” as it leads with “Yes”

WHAT IS NO?
“No” means “no”.
“Maybe” means “no”.
“Not now” means “no”.
“I’m not sure” means “no”
“Sure” means “No”
A shoulder shrug means “no”
A shake of the head from side to side means “no”
A nod without and affirmative YES” means “no”
If someone says “yes” and then changes to a “no… It means “NO”.
“We are not mutual” means “No”
“I am not not mutual” means “No”
“I am mutual” without a “yes” is considered a “no” please ask for clarity.

If at any time, you are touched or spoken to in a way that you do not agree with, you agree that it is your responsibility to:
1) Notify the person who has moved beyond your boundary that they have crossed your boundary of consent.
2) Remove yourself from the situation.
3) Alert the event organizers or their assistants immediately.

Discrimination:
Discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited. Comments, judgements or gestures aimed at a particular person or group of people, based on gender, race, age, sexual orientation, disability, beliefs, preferences, medical choices, appearance, or any other identifying trait is forbidden and will result in immediate dismissal from the event.

Photos and Filming:
While photos and filming are not prohibited, we ask that you be incredibly mindful with the photos and videos that you take. You are welcome to snap photos and film, however, please make sure that your content is focused on the panel or the space and not other participants.

Shopping:
The store will be closed prior to event. We will open back up the shop after, at that time, you can purchase products at 15% off.

If at any point your boundary is crossed, please communicate your boundary (if possible) and then proceed to notify a facilitator.

With this in mind, we expect everyone to show up in love and a willingness to help us cultivate a welcoming space for all.
